FAQs

How long is a therapy session?
Typically, 45 to 50 minutes. The length of sessions can vary depending on the individual’s or couple's needs. Couples, [Not couple’s]. Sessions are usually 90 minutes.

How much do sessions cost?
We work on a sliding scale. (Please note that we are “out-of-network” providers, so check with your insurance provider to find what services they will cover.)

How long does therapy usually last?
We work with both time-limited therapy as well as long-term therapy. The decision depends on each person's needs and goals.

What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness, or Mindful-Awareness is moment-to-moment awareness, watchful and free of judgement. It is a practice that allows us to pause and observe, then to respond in the most skillful, spontaneous and creative way.

What is Sociometry?
Sociometry is the study of inter-personal relationships and human connectedness. We use it in our practice to help clients identify their relationships within their own social atom.
