A little about me.
I am a psychotherapist and clinical supervisor. I have a practice in New York City and the Hudson Valley. I work with individuals, couples and groups. In addition, I provide training, consultation and on-line mentoring.
I’ve always been interested in creativity and the creative process. How do we grow and develop creativity? Creativity is about seeing something in a new way or responding in a new way. I look for ways to incorporate humor, spontaneity, playfulness and intuition into my work. I work with people of different religious backgrounds.
In the past ten years I have become more interested in bringing meditation into my life. I began to study different traditions of spiritual practice. I have been studying with certain Buddhist teachers. These teachings inform my therapeutic work.
I am certified as a trainer, educator and practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. Jaye served on the staff of Hudson Valley Mental Health in Duchess County, New York. I served as clinical supervisor and coordinator of Group Services at GMHC. I am also a former part-time adjunct faculty member at New York University Graduate School of Social Work.
I co-created IntegralTherapy.net. where we offer CEU- qualified training for mental health practitioners, integrating mindful awareness, meditation and compassion practices with psychotherapy and experiential learning. You can also join IntegralTherapy at our “Time In” afternoon series.
I am a current faculty member at the Psychodrama Training Institute of New York City where I conduct ongoing CEU-qualified training. I have presented at national and international conferences and recently co-authored an article published in the 2019-2020 ASGPP Journal entitled “Buddha Meet Moreno”.
